About Sentinelis
What is Sentinelis?
Sentinelis is an independent trading automation platform. You configure your strategies and parameters — Sentinelis executes them automatically on your connected exchange. It is software, not a financial advisor or managed fund.
Is Sentinelis connected to Decentralized Masters?
DM Quant and Tyler designed the initial strategy templates. DM is a contributing partner — Sentinelis is an independent product. No DM branding appears within the platform itself.
Does Sentinelis have access to my funds?
No. You connect via a read/trade API key from your exchange. Sentinelis can execute trades but cannot withdraw, transfer, or access your funds in any way. You maintain full custody at all times.
How It Works
Can I stop a strategy at any time?
Yes. You can pause or stop any running strategy at any time from within the platform. You can also revoke the API key directly from your exchange, which immediately removes Sentinelis's ability to execute trades.
What happens if my internet goes down?
Sentinelis runs on its own infrastructure — not on your device. Your internet connection going down does not affect the platform. Strategies continue running as long as your exchange API connection is active.
How are trades executed?
Sentinelis connects to your exchange via API key and places orders automatically based on the strategy rules you have configured. No manual input is required once the strategy is live.
Beta & Risk
What happens if a strategy loses money?
All trading involves risk of loss. The strategies include stop loss parameters to limit downside, but losses are possible and should be expected. Never trade with funds you can't afford to lose. Past backtested results are not indicative of future performance.
What does beta mean for me as a user?
The platform is live and functional. Beta means we are actively improving it based on real user feedback. Some features are still being developed — your feedback directly influences what gets built next.
Who is eligible for beta access?
Beta access is currently limited to DM Gold and Platinum members. If you are not yet a member, visit the Decentralized Masters website to learn about available plans.
The Strategies
What does profit factor mean?
Profit factor is the ratio of total profits to total losses over the backtest period. A profit factor above 1.0 means the strategy generated more profit than loss historically. It does not guarantee future results.
Can I see the exact rules behind a strategy?
No. The indicator settings, threshold values, and signal timing are not disclosed. This protects the integrity of the strategies. Each strategy's concept and market condition is described in plain English on the platform.
Who designed the strategies?
The initial strategies were designed by DM Quant and Tyler from Decentralized Masters. DM Quant built the ETH Trend and Range strategies. Tyler designed the XRP Fast and SUI Swing strategies.
Risk & Compliance
Can I turn off a strategy at any time?
Yes. You can stop any running strategy at any time from within the Sentinelis platform. You can also revoke your exchange API key directly, which immediately removes the platform's ability to place any trades.
What happens if a strategy enters a losing streak?
Each strategy includes configurable stop loss parameters to limit downside on individual trades. However, no strategy guarantees profits or prevents losses. Past backtested results are not indicative of future performance.
Is automated trading legal in my country?
Automated trading is legal in most jurisdictions, but regulations vary by country. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws before using the platform. Sentinelis does not provide legal advice.
